The staff at Manordale P.S. is committed to providing the best quality education for each student. We look forward to working with you, to help your child become the best that he or she can be. We strive to promote a positive school climate, set high academic standards and expectations, develop a focus on quality instruction, and foster a high level of parent/community involvement.
A huge thank you to all the students, parents and community members who joined us during the Spring Fling 50th anniversary celebrations on June 8th. For the occasion, we were pleased to welcome Member of Provincial Parliament Lisa McLeod to present special recognition to Mrs. Myrna Hay for 43 years of involvement at Manordale- whether as a parent, grandparent, School Council rep, and volunteer extraordinaire!
We also recognized Mr. Murray McClymont, our chief custodian, for 22 years of amazing service to the school – with perfect attendance might we add. It was nice to welcome over 60 past staff members of Manordale, and we know they enjoyed coming out to the BBQ and listening to the great presentations from our primary and junior choirs.
Next time you are in the school, please sign in at the office and make sure to come and check out our Anniversary Wall beside the library. All students were invited to contribute to this on-going arts project.
I would also like to thank the school council members who organized the Spring Fling again this year. Formal thanks to all the sponsors who contributed to the success our Spring Fair celebrations.
Thank you for the amazing support that you offer us on a regular basis. On behalf of the staff at Manordale, we wish you an enjoyable and safe summer and we look forward to seeing you again in September.
